Cody Johnson Begins 2023 Touring Calendar with Sold-Out January!
Two-time CMA Award and two-time CMT Award winner Cody Johnson launched his 2023 touring calendar with sold-out shows in Lafayette, Louisiana at the Cajun Dome and in Southaven, Mississippi at the Landers Center. His remaining January shows are also sold-out! In 2022, Cody enjoyed the most successful touring year of his career to date, looks like ’23 is shaping up to do the same. In December, Cody released Cody Johnson & The Rockin’ CJB Live with his longtime touring band. The music transports the listener to a virtual concert as album was recorded during back-to-back-to-back sold- out shows. The album includes a live version if his current radio single, “Human” which MusicRow touted as “a perfect performance like “’Til You Can’t” but this (Human) stunning meditation on frailty and mistakes is just as breathtaking. Cody is currently nominated at the upcoming iHeart Awards as “New Country Artist” (March 27) and “Support/Special Guest Act of the Year” at the Pollstar Awards (February 22).
